How do you say?
As the roots of a tree push through
the soil,
As the brown leaves dive to feed them,
As new love blossoms in spring,
A lonely heart yearns to open.
Of these I am sure,
For these I can trust.
A token strains to break free,
Desire burns in the soul,
A chance amplifies in a bewitched mind,
Words form and long to be spoken.
Of these I am unsure,
By these I am tortured.
Courage will prevail,
With the smile of good fortune,
For she is only a door away,
And day's dawn has almost broken.
Of this wish I am sure,
Of this wish I am certain.
